Club sports. Notorious for their crowded tournaments, rowdy parents, and lengthy travel weekends to cities in what players often describe as ‘the middle of nowhere.’ Despite its unconventionality, these events are considered the paramount for high schoolers who play sports. 
Local high schoolers play football on Thanksgiving morning at Lake Forest Sports Park. Since high school football seasons in California have been pushed back, the Turkey Bowl was a fun way to have some kind of football game.
