The Irvine Spectrum Center is welcoming many exciting new restaurants and experiences, as it continues to be one of Orange County’s most popular destinations for shopping, dining, and entertainment. With highly anticipated new places opening, Spectrum’s latest additions offer something for everyone.
La La Land Kind Café is coming to Orange County! Known for their cheerful yellow cups, heart shaped straws, and branding, La La Land is proud to serve delicious drinks ranging from their Banana Cloud Latte to specialty matchas, such as the Lavender Bloom or Strawberry Fields matcha. Found in over twenty locations, in Texas, California, and Arizona, La La Land’s debut at Spectrum is guaranteed to have the same draw that many locations currently experience: lines out the door from open to close. La La Land is listed as “coming soon” on Spectrum’s website, so until then, get excited to enjoy your favorite drink, served with a smile, as you shop around the outdoor mall.
Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream is now open at Irvine Spectrum, offering freshly made ice cream, sundaes, and milkshakes, with over 100 flavor options. The brand is known for its commitment to quality and has been serving up treats since 1945, setting it apart from other ice cream chains. Handel’s is perfect for sunny southern California weather and is already a fan favorite as the weather begins to warm. Handel’s is located next to Target, go check it out today.
The arrival of Din Tai Fung is perhaps the most highly anticipated addition. The internationally acclaimed and celebrated Taiwanese restaurant is known for its handmade soup dumplings, called Xiao Long Bao. With a large and beautifully designed dining space, Din Tai Fung can accommodate high demand. Opt-in for a recommended reservation at least a month in advance or take your chances waiting possibly three plus hours for this delicious, but highly popular restaurant. Din Tai Fung at Spectrum is set to open March 2, 2026, but keep your eye out for reservations opening Feb. 6.
With these additions, the Irvine Spectrum Center continues to expand beyond a shopping destination. As new locations open throughout the year, Spectrum remains a place where visitors can experience many different offerings, all in one place.
