Harry Edward Styles, the 32-year-old singer famous for being in the hit band from the 2010s, One Direction, has recently announced his return to music. After finishing one of the highest grossing tours in history, “Love on Tour” the pop singer took a step back from the spotlight and was only seen in the occasional paparazzi or fan photos riding bikes around Europe and focusing on life away from the stage. As of early January 2026, he announced his return through his 4th studio album titled “Kiss all the Time, Disco, Occasionally” set to hit Apple Music on March 6th. On January 22, he released his single “Aperture” which took a different direction from his typical rock-pop style music. Instead of acoustic guitar or piano, the single utilized more synthetic instruments and had more of a house music feel. Fans speculate that this will be a common theme throughout the album, with some even speculating that he could be releasing a double album. “Kiss all the Time” being the first half, and “Disco Occasionally” the second. However, since then, the artist has released the track names for the album, potentially debunking this theory. On February 1 of this year, Styles presented Album of the Year at the Grammy’s to Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio otherwise known as Bad Bunny, an award he previously won for his fan favorite album released in 2022 “Harry’s House”. Styles even connected with the other pop rock sensation and close friend John Mayer in a SiriusXM interview to discuss his return to music. Overall, I think fans can expect great things from Styles, and there is a anticipation he has created to find out exactly what the world is in store for, as the singer is known for his element of surprise.
