For all girls who love country, boots, and a little bit of sparkle, Megan Moroney is often one of the top streamed artists for these emo cowgirls. With catchy melodies and relatable lyrics, her former studio albums such as Am I okay? and Lucky have been massive successes. However, Moroney has been working on a new project – one full of sparkles and spunk – that cannot seem to come out soon enough. On February 20th, 2026, her third studio album, Cloud 9, could change everything. 

As fans anxiously await this new album, Moroney has dropped a few of the new tracks along the way, including Wish I didn’t and her album title song, Cloud 9. Fans are in for a treat with the music video for Wish I didn’t, as starring is Dancing with the Stars sensation Dylan Efron, and more amazing collaborations to come. Earlier in the year when the setlist was dropped, fans saw that Moroney was doing more collaborations, including Kasey Musgraves and Ed Sheeran.  

To enhance the drop of her new album, Moroney is also selling new vinyl and Cloud 9 merchandise on her website – apparel that fans will not want to miss. Although the new Cloud 9 wear hits differently, so does the tour that will come across North America later this year. Moroney is going on tour starting in May, going to cities such as Houston and Chicago, celebrating a lifetime of heartbreak and the fresh feeling of falling in love.  

With the album dropping in the next week, emo cowgirls have loads to look forward to from their favorite heartbreak country singer – enough to keep them floating on Cloud 9 and never making them wish they didn’t.
