Bringing in the Christmas Spirit
On December 6, the performing arts students of SM will put on a production of “A Christmas Carol”, as well as dance and singing performances. The production will star the beloved former SM principal, Raymond Dunn as Ebenezer Scrooge, a cold-hearted miser who despises Christmas. In addition, theatre students will portray the Victorian citizens of London, as well as the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future.
Students have been prepping for this show for a long time, with preparation going as far back to September.
Lots of hard work has gone into the Christmas production, from the sets to the lights, there isn’t one aspect where effort hasn’t been put in. As the show draws near, practices and rehearsals become excruciatingly longer, but that’s only to ensure that every performance is perfect and pristine.
