In the Red Cross Club we organize semester blood drives on campus that students, parents, teachers, or anyone else in the SMCHS community can participate in, we bring awareness to the need for blood in our community and the importance of health.
I had the chance to be a part of a family and meet a number of new, and awesome people through a hobby that I had no experience in. Opportunities like the steel drums class at SM have prepared me for life to experiment with new things and embrace change.

My favorite part is definitely teaching the games to the rest of the team. That's something that I have definitely had to get used to doing and it was a new challenge for me this year but I really started to enjoy just helping people grow in their confidence and how much they love the game.
