I hope project Speak Up! grows even more as a mental health resource at SM, as it is something I have worked hard at. I am proud to be in the beginning years of this program.
In the Red Cross Club we organize semester blood drives on campus that students, parents, teachers, or anyone else in the SMCHS community can participate in, we bring awareness to the need for blood in our community and the importance of health.
I had the chance to be a part of a family and meet a number of new, and awesome people through a hobby that I had no experience in. Opportunities like the steel drums class at SM have prepared me for life to experiment with new things and embrace change.
"I think overall I can make SM a better place by just including my own perspective and outlook on different facets of things and kind of incorporating my own diversity and characteristics onto campus whether it's through the dance team, MUN, or ASB."
