Previewing Super Bowl LVI
Last Sunday, January 30th, 2022, was the conference championships for the NFL. In the AFC conference championship, the Kansas City Chiefs played the Cincinnati Bengals and in the NFC conference championship, it was the Los Angeles Rams versus the San Francisco 49ers. The winners of these conference championship games would play each other in Super Bowl LVI in Sofi stadium in Los Angeles, California.
After the games, last Sunday the conference champions were the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals. We officially knew who would face off against each other in Super Bowl 56 with the newly formed Los Angeles rams going up against the very young Cincinnati Bengals. The Rams, bringing in a new starting quarterback in Matthew Stafford ran through the NFC on their way to the Super Bowl in their home stadium. The Cincinnati Bengals are filled with young players such as second-year quarterback Joe Burrow and rookie wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase.
Super Bowl 56 will be a very electrifying football game filled with the future of the NFL and will be watched by everybody. This football game will be watched by most of the country with the Super Bowl being the biggest game of the year in sports along with the very entertaining commercials. Pregame predictions for this game have the Rams favored due to playing in their home stadium but it is to be said that the game will be very entertaining and should be a very competitive game down to the last minute.
Last season Super Bowl, Super Bowl 55 which featured the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had an estimated 96 million viewers. It should be interesting to see if Super Bowl 56 in Los Angeles has close to as many viewers as last year. Viewership is important to grow the game and to help with producing the commercials that are in the Super Bowl.
