My name is Gracyn Aquino, and I am a junior. During my time at SM, I’ve enjoyed being involved in athletics, the arts, and being a student ambassador. Some of my favorite memories have been competing for SM as a swimmer. Since freshman year, I’ve competed on the Varsity Swim Team and had the opportunity to contribute to our National Title in 2022 and our CIF State Titles for the past two years. Outside the pool, I have also been able to pursue my love for art in my Advanced Painting Honors class and the National Art Honors Society (NAHS). I am grateful for the art teachers who are dedicated to expanding students’ knowledge of different media, while allowing us to express our creativity through artwork. Being a member of NAHS, I am involved in art-related projects such as working and displaying art during the Annual SM Art Show. Finally, as a student ambassador, I give tours during Open House and give potential and future students a glimpse of the amazing experience they could have as an SM eagle inside and outside the classroom.
