“Hi my name’s Amelia Hellem and I’m a junior this year. I play varsity tennis and I am also in MUN. Both of these programs have helped shape me into the student and athlete I am now. Being on the tennis team here at SM is such a unique experience because 
I’ve been on many other teams before, but there is such a special sense of community on the team and I have learned so much about how to be a better player and teammate. MUN is a class I am so fortunate to take at SM because it has taught me so many valuable life skills such as public speaking and writing skills and teaches us about current world issues. I am also very excited to be traveling internationally with MUN this year to London. I am so grateful for both these opportunities and can’t wait to continue them during the rest of my time here.”
