“Currently I am a Speak Up! Ambassador and I am involved in Link Crew programs. They all have taught me so much about leadership and the importance of putting others before yourself, especially with the Speak Up! program. Mental health is so important and I am ecstatic to be a part of the movement to destigmatize it and bring awareness to the mental health issues teens face today. I also am the co-president of my club, Hushed History. In my club with Leo Dong (co-president), we strive to teach history that is often neglected in the American education system. Learning more about other cultures and countries from a non-Eurocentric point of view helps for full understanding of historical events. I am also involved in Talon Tutors and the Mandala Creative Writing Club. I love being able to help others through tutoring and making videos about educational topics, and creative writing is such great outlet for me. It is liberating to write about whatever I want, how I want, and when I want.”
