“This year, I decided to create my own ETV segment called Five Second Rule. Basically I give contestants a topic, let’s say Netflix Shows, and they’ll have to name three shows in under five seconds. I thought, ‘Hey, I’m familiar with the five-seconds game.’ It might be a cool idea to adapt it for ETV and have people think on their feet. Sometimes the game can get competitive, too, and I love that! I wanted a segment that was fun, entertaining, and challenge-based. So far the students have been nailing it–I’m aiming to get teachers featured as well. Do you think a history teacher could name three periodic table elements under five seconds?
