“This year I founded a club called C.H.A.N.G.E which stands for Challenging Human Apathy by Nurturing Global Empathy, and the club focuses on learning about and discussing different racial, gender, socioeconomic issues prevalent in our world today. And then at the same time, learning more about each other and our different cultures and experiences… I’m also involved in the D.I.V.E committee and two of its subcommittees: Student Affairs and the D.I.V.E Day team… I think that C.H.A.N.G.E really benefits the student community in particular because it gives people an opportunity to have conversations that they might not normally have… it gives people the opportunity to be able to connect with others.”
