“One of my favorite parts about being a student at SMCHS was being a part of Talon Theatre and choir. I have done theatre all four years of high school and have been in chambers choir since my junior year. I loved joining a community of really hardworking and passionate people who always support me. All of us work very hard to put on a production or perform in a choir concert, and I love seeing the outcome of all the effort and hard work we put into everything we do. One of my favorite experiences was going to the Netherlands and Belgium last summer, where we got to perform in beautiful venues and had the unique opportunity to perform in two different countries! While I’m sad that my time at SMCHS has come to an end, I couldn’t be happier of all the experiences I’ve had as a student. My experience at SMCHS as a choir and theatre student has led me to follow my passion for music, and I am so excited to attend Boston Conservatory in the fall and major in vocal performance. Without all the support from my teachers, I don’t know if I would be where I am today, and I am so grateful that I had such amazing teachers at SMCHS.”
