“My favorite activity at SMCHS has been water polo, and I have played for four years. It has been an amazing experience. I have met my best friends on the water polo team and made amazing memories. My junior year we won league and CIF, and my senior year we won league again. My favorite part is the community. The girls on my team have become sisters to me, we have each others backs. Water polo has made me mentally and physically strong. It has taught me to be patient with others and confident in myself. It has made me a leader. Without playing in high school I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to continue in college, and I will cherish my time playing at SMCHS forever.”
