Founder, Habitat for Humanity

“I started the Habitat for Humanity Club because when we went to Second Harvest it touched my heart when we saw all of the stories about the homeless people. My older sister used to volunteer at Habitat for Humanity and I thought it was a great organization and I really wanted to help the homeless people. In this club, we are going to volunteer at the Habitat for Humanity headquarters where they have a thrift store for furniture so people are able to furnish their homes for cheaper. There are different building sites where we can help build houses and then are given to families for free.”
