“First we [Chambers choir] were in Harlem, Netherlands and we performed in a chapel there along side another choir from the Netherlands. It was really neat to meet them and collaborate with them on one of the songs. After the Netherlands, we went to Belgium where we sang in a cathedral. It was personally my favorite experience because we sang Indodana which is a really personal song and it is just super beautiful. I vividly remember this old man sitting in the front row crying overwhelmed with emotions from the song. Afterwards, he approached me, crying, and thanked us for our performance. I think everyone in the audience was touched by the song. The combination of the touching song in the beautiful cathedral made it a super unforgettable experience. After Belgium, we sang in Zutphen, Netherlands. It was this little town and yet a lot of people ended up coming to the performance. There were people from the community that came and also some family and friends of us singing. It was really fun because we collaborated with a group there as well”

“We did a lot of sightseeing. In Amsterdam, we went to the Van Gogh Museum and the Ann Frank house. Those were both really cool experiences. Of course, we got Belgium waffles too. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity that I will never forget. Mr. Calvo and Mr. Winn made the experience so fun and engaging. All around it was a perfect trip with great people”
