Makena Priebe is a junior at Santa Margarita Catholic High School. She transferred to SMCHS last year, as an incoming sophomore. Since switching schools, she has met so many new friends and been a part of so many fun opportunities that the school has to offer. Sophomore year, Makena ran cross country and track and field. However, this year she is more focused on academics and has a job, working at a Kids Club in a gym. Makena has enjoyed going to the school dances and football games. She also is aiming to reach her forty service hours by the end of first semester senior year. Overall, Makena has enjoyed her SMCHS experience and can’t wait for more memorable experiences.
