Santa Margarita Catholic High School Business & Economics Project
The SMCHS B&E Project connects multiple SMCHS business and economics courses to provide students more in-class and extracurricular opportunities, fostering students' learning experiences.
As our society advances into the age of AI, both business and economics education can help students to be better prepared for their future in this challenging world.
Student publication plays a crucial role in the SMCHS B&E Project, in which it serves to enhance in-class opportunities for SMCHS students. With very selective rubrics, students with the top submissions can have an opportunity to publish their work. The SMCHS B&E Project publishes works in three categories: education, exploration, and creative content.
- Education materials - Focusing on academic knowledge taught in SMCHS classes. Students demonstrate their understanding of academic concepts.
- Student research - Promoting students' learning through real-life case studies that apply knowledge learned in the classroom. Students apply their knowledge beyond the course.
- Eagles' Virtual Business - Sharing SMCHS students' creative ideas for their business.
