Hi, my name is Brooke Barber. I am a senior at SM and I run track and field. I run the 800m and 1600m during season so I would be considered a middle distance athlete, but sometimes they will throw me in the 4×400 for some speedwork. Currently, I work with coaching young track athletes who are looking to compete at the high school level and would love to continue that in the future. I plan to take my experience with track to the Division 1 level for college, hopefully staying in-state. I plan to pursue a major related to sports media. Off the track and outside of school, I lifeguard in Laguna Beach. I enjoy surfing and spending my time at the beach with my friends. I am excited to finish my final year strong here at Santa Margarita!
