“My name is Emma Gomez, and I am currently a Junior. I have been involved with various activities on and off campus. In school, I participate in ASB, where I served as Freshman/Sophomore Class Secretary, Commissioner of Activities, and Executive Vice President. Throughout my time in ASB, I have been able to help put on events such as the Homecoming Tailgate, give out the monthly ASB card member treats, and help plan the Homecoming game halftime show. I participate in Link Crew and Ambassadors where I get the opportunity to introduce interested families to life on the SM campus and welcome incoming freshmen into the Eagle family. Outside of school, I am involved with club swim which I have participated in since I was five years old. I am also in National Charity League which has enabled me to help others in any way that I can, especially through different philanthropies. Some of these philanthropies include Laura’s House, which is an organization for victims of domestic violence, and Family Assistance Ministries, which is a food bank for those in need. Both of these have shown how important it is to give back to the community and to be grateful for everything I have in my life.” – Emma Gomez ’25
