Hello, my name is Ramon Jiang. I’m a junior and have been swimming at SM since my freshman year. Swimming is seen as simply a sport to most people, but for me, entering the water with my friends has taught me many life lessons that I continue to live my life by. Waking up at 4:30 in the morning to go dive in a cold pool is a challenging task, but through this continual effort to show up and be on time, I have developed a dedication to the things I try to achieve and the work ethic to practice even when I would rather sleep in. I hope to carry these lessons on with me to achieve my future aspirations.
