Preston Dorand
As a four-year student at Santa Margarita, my time included many highs and lows. Freshman year was a learning curve managing baseball and school. Sophomore and Junior years were filled with masks, Covid tests, and online school. Finally, senior year was finding that routine while preparing for college. Overall, I enjoyed my time at Santa Margarita and found it beneficial for the future. For the next four years, I will be attending Otterbein University in Westerville Ohio. During my time at Otterbein University, I will be playing baseball as well as majoring in Sport Management and minoring in exercise and health science. While I understand that my time playing baseball will end sooner than later, I want to stay in the game for as long as possible. My goal for after college is to begin the path to either a baseball general manager, or become a sports agent and hopefully represent popular players.
