“I joined Talon Theatre because I was fortunate enough to get the chance to participate in a show with them before I was in high school, so when I was a freshmen and deciding what I was going to join it was an easy decision. Talon Theatre functions with high expectations for everyone in every discipline of theatre including tech and design which was refreshing to see. With theatre being my passion, and hopefully future career, getting to experience a process that feels very professional in both practice and results is very fulfilling for me.

My favorite part about being in Talon Theatre is, unsurprisingly, the process of making a show. I absolutely love the entire thing from start to finish, nothing compares to working for months on a project of that size and getting to see it all come together and putting on a great show. Of course, it wouldn’t be half as enjoyable without the amazing people who are a part of it along the way, and as miserable as it is to have to stay on campus until 10 pm sometimes, I never regret it because I’m getting to spend all that time with some of my absolute favorite people.

In our upcoming show, You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, I am playing the role of Peppermint Patty in addition to being a featured dancer, I also designed all of the costumes for the show. My favorite part about being involved in this show is actually the amazing cast, don’t get me wrong, the show is incredible and an incredible experience, but our cast is so unified, and for lack of a better phrase, the vibes are unmatched.”
