“I enjoyed being at SM and part of several communities. Marching band was a special place for me. The busy schedule had pushed me to become more organized so I can balance my schoolwork and activities. I met my best friends because of the time we spent together in band. The community was supportive so that I was able to get through tough times with learning music as a beginner. I loved being involved with the international community at SM, like international student club. It allowed us to grow in knowledge about other cultures and spread the spirits of my own culture, which is a meaningful school experience for me.”
