“I have been a new student in high school before, I switched schools my sophomore year… and coming here my junior year I was like ‘Oh, it will be fine, it’ll kind of be like the same situation,’ but it ended up being completely different because of Covid. It was harder than it usually is because it’s hard to make friends and really meet your teachers and get a feel for your classes when you’re online, so that was a bit of a challenge in the beginning. I was excited when we got to go back to school because I thought it would be a good chance to meet new people and make new friends and it was! I did meet some people and I’m slowly making friends, slowly feeling more comfortable in the school. Everyone was so welcoming and so nice, and all my teachers are great so I feel like it’s going to be a great two years at this school.”
