“I’ve been in the Red Cross Club since my freshman year. I wanted to get involved in a club at SM and they were the first club that I saw at fall club rush my freshman year, the people seemed really nice so I joined. As a senior I am the club secretary for the 2020-21 school year. In the Red Cross Club we organize semester blood drives on campus that students, parents, teachers, or anyone else in the SMCHS community can participate in, we bring awareness to the need for blood in our community and the importance of health. Students should join the club if they want to make a difference in their community. blood is not something that is that abundant and is a constant need in our community, there is a way to combat this. Students can donate blood themselves, or they can encourage those around them to donate blood for the benefit of others.”
