“Although I was very shy when I was younger, I decided to get involved with Talon Theatre my freshman year. I instantly fell in love with the community, traditions and rehearsal process in Talon Theatre! In addition to acting, I have been able to design and direct. No matter if you are on tech or performing, it’s an incredible experience to see something you create in your imagination come to life! In addition to the fall/spring shows, Christmas productions, and comedy improv team, I have also been able to get inducted with the International Thespian Society and serve on the thespian board as Philanthropy Liaison and Vice President . However, the most rewarding experience has been performing in Speak Up! and serving as a Speak Up ambassador. I would encourage anyone who is interested to join theatre, even if you don’t have experience, because it’s a great opportunity to be creative and make friends!”
