“I’ve been spending this time going on long walks and getting to know myself more. I’ve also been doing more gardening and researching to fill my time. When I return to SMCHS I plan on spending more time with friends and exploring the campus some more! Also since it will be my senior year I really want to go to more school events and play a more active role. After high school, I intend to major in environmental engineering. I think SMCHS’s high workload has taught me to manage my time well and the people I’ve met at this school have taught me valuable lessons that I will carry into college and life. This quarantine has really made me value my connections with people at school and how much they all mean to me, and that’s really helped me get through this time.”
