“I have been on the SMCHS swim team for four years. It has been an awesome opportunity for me to meet new people from every grade. I was a captain for my senior season. Although it was cut short, it was so fun being able to lead a group of boys and getting to have that extra responsibility. I had amazing coaches and they really helped me grow as an athlete and a person. We got runner up in CIF my junior year which was a huge accomplishment for us as a whole. I met some of my best friends on through the swim program and made some of my favorite memories at SMCHS at the pool. I wish we could’ve gotten to finish our season, but I am so thankful for my time on the swim team.”
