“My experiences with extracurriculars and my friends have made my experience at SMCHS the most memorable. I’ve been in choir all four years and I remember every single concert and festival that I was able to perform in. I’ve also participated in theatre, and every rehearsal and performance that I was a part of was made such a great experience because of the friends that I got to perform and hang out with. The teachers I had also played a big part in making my experience memorable, and I’ve learned a lot from them that I can take with me to college.”

“I’m definitely going to miss my friends the most at SMCHS. I have such incredible friends that I’m going to have a really hard time parting with, and I’m so grateful for everything they’ve done for me. I’m also really going to miss choir, I’ve learned a lot from Mr. Calvo and Mr. Winn, and being a part of choir has had a huge impact on me throughout my time at SMCHS.”

“My advice for freshmen is to appreciate what you have. I know everyone says this, but high school goes by so fast with all of your classes and extracurriculars. So, it’s really important to slow down and take time to appreciate your friends and family, any pets that you may have and anything that you feel thankful for. This sounds super cliche but I think it’s important. Life doesn’t slow down, so we have to cherish the time we have now before it’s gone because we can never get it back.”
