“The transition to online school has definitely been a challenge, but I think that the experience will be really beneficial in the long run for developing skills like independence and self-motivation before college. During this experience, it’s been hard to have to give up school activities that I am passionate about such as sports and clubs, but it has also given me a chance to explore new hobbies with the extra time on my hands.

In my time outside of school, I have been staying active and spending lots of time with my family. We have also decided to take in a foster dog and have been training and caring for her during the quarantine. While it has been extremely challenging to be away from my friends for so long, I am grateful for the technology we have access to so that we can still see each other virtually.”
