“What I like about Santa Margarita is that people are so welcoming because when I first moved here I didn’t know anyone so it was really great that everyone was so nice and willing to include me and talk to me. I feel like I made a lot of friends because people were welcoming and what I like about cross country is that we are all really supportive of each other. I also like that its co-ed because then I feel that I am meeting a lot more people than I normally would, I think it also makes us closer. Something that I definitely couldn’t have gotten up north that I got here was definitely more of a sense of community. Since I go to San Francisco Solano Church, I am able to see a lot of familiar faces from school.”
