“This year I was on the homecoming court. It was a really fun experience because both my mom and my grandma were on the homecoming court, so it was very important for me to continue out the tradition. All of my family came out, I think I had about thirty people in the stands. Everyone came in from Northern California and San Diego, and it was really special to have everyone there. I got to see all of my cousins and take pictures with them.

It felt very honored to represent the senior class, it’s fun to feel special. The best part of the experience was probably the rally, not only did I get to perform with my song team, I also got to walk out with my boyfriend. It was a really fun experience and definitely one of the major highlights of my high school experience.”
