Lyndsey Issa

Class of 2021

“So I decided I wanted to go into business when I’m older so then I was trying to think of something to do with my free time outside of school. [I] thought that making a business would be a good idea. It took me a while to like think  of the idea, but then I was inspired by living in California and everything on social media and stuff about our oceans. So, I decided  to make a business that sells jewelry and then donates some of the profits to the Surfrider Foundation. I actually started the business over the summer, but business class  has helped me to further expand my knowledge, which has been able to apply to my business. I now am able to create a business plan after learning how to create one in class. [It allowed me] to further develop the business to where it is now.”
