“The youth philanthropy club is a club where students can have the opportunity to work with any organizations that they want and find ways to better our community. I started the club because I am very passionate about working with foundations and getting other students involved with organizations that can help change the world. With the club, I hope to spread awareness and raise money for different foundations throughout the campus as well  as our community. I first got the idea to start the youth philanthropy club from my dad because he works in the charity business. Through him I found the Starkey Hearing Foundation. I have worked very closely with them and have gone on many mission trips with them. Working with the foundation sparked my passion for community service and made me want to bring this mentality of kindness to our school.”
