The girl’s tennis season has now started off with a bang! The varsity team was able to come out with a win in their tournament in Fresno after a tight match with JSerra. Afterwards, the girls celebrated with Dutch Bro’s and a sufficient amount of Chipotle to continue Deeping their bond and team chemistry.
However, it isn’t just the varsity team dominating. Junior varsity has been fighting hard with their singles and having a great season. Besides the Beckman tournament JV has only lost one match. A JV member said their doubles is “learning a lot about figuring out when to attack or go on defense and our doubles are getting good at working together.”
Everybody knows a team is not much without good coaching. SM’s girls’ tennis team has some of the best coaches for tennis. All of them are working their very hardest to give the girls the best season possible. Don’t let Coach Michaut’s French accent deceive you, he is ready to take on his 25th year of teaching our tennis team with poise and precision.
