This show started in 2022 and now this is the final season. The show is based off three books written by Jenny Han.
The show is about Isabel “Belly” Conklin who is played by Lola Tung and every summer she goes to Cousins with her family and her mom’s best friend’s family. Conrad who is played by Christopher Briney, is the older brother who Belly has always loved.
Jeremiah, who is played by Gavin Casalegno, also is in love with Belly. Belly is put in a love triangle with both of her childhood best friends. The series shows the development of the character over time.
After waiting two years, the show finally released the 3rd and final season. Belly has a choice to make on which brother she wants to spend the rest of her life with. Many people can be team Jeremiah or team Conrad, depending on their opinion.
The show anticipation was very high, and many people watched it as soon they could. The show had 25 million viewers on the first day, which was a lot higher than the previous seasons.
The second show that fans were excited to watch was season two of “My Life with Walter Boys,” which came out on August 28 on Netflix.
This show is about Jackie Howard who is played by Nikki Rodriguez. Sadly in the beginning of the show her family passes away in a tragic car accident. She is forced to move and live with her mom’s friend in a different state.
When she lives with her friend’s mom, she falls for Alex, who is played by Ashby Gentry. They were in a relationship for all of season one. However, she also fell for the older brother Cole who is played by Noah LaLonde.
This puts Jackie in a love triangle between two brothers. However since Jackie moved to a different state, she needs to learn how to develop as a person in her new home. This show left the audience with a cliffhanger going into season 2.
Both these shows are extremely similar because of the storyline, and they have both been inspired from books. However, they can be seen as different, and some people prefer one over the other.
