Hi, I’m Janaya Williams. I’m a senior at Santa Margarita Catholic High School. I spend time volunteering at Atria Senior Living, where I’ve learned how meaningful it is to simply show up for others. I also love skateboarding, going to the beach, and making memories with my friends. This year, I’m working hard to reach a 4.2 GPA and grow both academically and athletically so I can earn a spot at a great college. One of my former teammates, Morgan Cheli, taught me something I’ll never forget: no matter how much you’ve accomplished, there’s always room to learn and grow. I don’t need to be the loudest in the room or have all the answers. What matters most to me is staying ground, leading with kindness, and making sure the people around me feel seen and supported. I believe quiet compassion can speak volumes.
