Tokyo/Beijing MUN Trip
Ten seniors travelled to Tokyo and Beijing on an MUN trip.

From March 5-15, 10 SMCHS seniors experienced chilly (and sometimes freezing) weather, intense pollution, squat toilets, a tremendous amount of sushi and fried rice and two entirely foreign cultures.
Led by MUN director John Remmell and science teacher Kathy Dennis, the SMCHS MUN program attended the Twenty-Second Annual BEIMUN Conference from March 12-14. Among the roughly 1,000 delegates from dozens of countries, the 10 seniors travelled to Beijing, China to represent the countries of Nicaragua and Australia in nine different forums.
